Fished Montauk Thursday and Friday.

Thursday was slow on fluke and pretty good on Sea Bass. There were a few limits.

Friday was very good on Sea Bass and solid on fluke. I saw a 10 and few 8s and 9s on Friday and a 10 on Thursday.

Twenty of us fished stripers from 8 PM to 11:15 PM SW of block w eels. Three fish were boated (25, 40, 45#).

I limited on Friday on the fluke. All were caught on whole squid, need 20 oz to hold). On Thursday, I worked hi/los with peruvians and had one short. Who knows what will work tomorrow. Be prepared for anything, watch those that catch, be flexible.

Was there last week so my report may be a little stale. Friday last I killed the fluke 3-4 ounce bucktails all day.

Saturday the 1st killed the bass and black bass. As bill said everyday is different, but that doesn't matter in the tauk, because it's so nice out there

If you go, visit camp hero and the bluffs, you won't regret it.

When you catch fluke or sea bass take them to wok n roll. They will cook your fish for a reasonable price. The General Tso's is a great way to enjoy your catch.
