Had Steve B and crew on board for a half-day fluke trip. Got a late start at 7:30.
Ran down south again and had a very good bite early on as the conditions were still very good. Mostly shorts, but a few keepers mixed in. By 9:30-10, the S wind was screaming and the guys were really struggling using 12-16 oz. of lead. At that point things were very tough.
Ran in on the beach to finish up the day where the drift was more manageable, and we were able to pick through a few more shorts.
Jeff was HH and had the biggest fish of just under 5#.
