Friday - Long Island Salt
Saturday - Delaware River
Sunday - Spruce Run

Just had to get as much fishing as possible done and here it is.

On Friday my friend calls me up and gives me a task. He says I want to fish of long island, saltwater and find him a party boat.

I go by the time I leave work boats will be gone, to wich his reply was don't care just find me one.

After a quick search found one that leaves at 10pm. Awesome. Done with work at 6, pick him up and off to LI we go. Got there about 845pm and found another one that leaves at 9. Decided to try it out. No offense to all the NJ captains but one of the cleanest, friendliest boat I been on. Even though we had only 10 people on board, captain made sure to put us on the fish and we spend an hour getting to the grounds. Targets were seabass and porgies and we were on the fish pretty much as soon as we stopped. Fish in only two places through the night and all of them produced. Seabass, porgies, bluefish, red snappers, eels and dogfish were all hooked through the night.

Didn't drop a rod in a water this time so it was a great night of fishing.

Got home around 330am on Saturday morning and in half an hour receive a phone call from my friend who is heading out to Spruce. Before I passed out I remember giving him directions. Woke up at 10 am and started to get ready to head out to Delaware to meet up with Eddy.

Made some runs to the store to get all I need and at 12:30 headed out.
Met up with Eddy around 230 and off we went to the promised land. Of course true to my word, fishing with my sorry ass is always an adventure and I didn't disappoint.

We got to the spot, slowly getting ready and it happens. With one swift motion on my gigantic ass, I close the doors to my truck effectively locking my keys inside. Great. Just freacking great. And we didn't even got down to the river yet. Spend the next hour and half trying to get it open. Seeing my frustration and how I was eyeballing the hammer, Eddy manages to hook the keys and a short time later doors were open. Ahhh fishing with Andre. Delievered.

Got to the river and a short time later Eddy hooks up with a flatty kitty. He had couple of more solid pulls that didn't connect while I was blabbing away about anything and everything. No fish for me that night.

Ohh and managed to break a rod on the first cast while finally trying some topwater action. Just great.

Got home around 12:30am and headed out to Spruce at 7am on Sunday

Stayed only for 4 hours not catching much, when I realized I was already falling asleep. Packed my stuff up and off home I went for some well deserved rest.

Pictures coming up when I stop being lazy and put them up.

Thanks all and fish them up.

Glad to have you out there Andre. I had a good time even with the delay. Locking the keys in the truck was a great start to the night, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Can't believe we got the truck open without having to break the damn window. The fishing could've been better. Can't remember the last time I missed so many fish after those long runs. The fish had the bait in it's mouth forever and still failed to get hooked, UNREAL! One Flathead was good enough to beat the SKUNK though! Flathead was around 5-6 lbs and pretty feisty. We must do it again very very soon buddy.

TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D

Red snapper? Someone was pulling your leg. No Red snapper north of Hatteras unless you are talking about a euphemism for a lady's *****:D

LoL Eddy,

For reals was a perfect night to be out besides the jet ski zero **** were given crowd. I am coming back with golf balls next time.

Tautog,

I stick by the story. Red snapper it was in all its glory. Only one for the boat and small but it was no mistaking it. Was released unarmed back to the wild.
