But the catching sucked. Launched out of AHMM at 7, fished the bay. 3 shorts, 3 dogfish, 5 bunker.

Bunker were popping up all over, did a little snag and drop, but nothing was interested.

Developed some intermittent electrical problems on the boat, so headed back in at 1.

Yeah i didn't see a lot of catching today. Only got one short fluke... but we ran into a big school of bluefish on the way out which was fun. We got a bunch of them, all around 2-4 pounds. So the day wasn't a complete bust. Fluking sucked though. Tried all of the "hot spots" in RB.... nada

Same here. Fished hard all day, got 2 keepers and a slow pick of shorts.

I have to disagree, yesterday was one of the best days of catching I've had in while. Never left the bay and found fish everywhere I stopped. The channel edges were alive with fish all day long.

I was very surprised to read this post...Saturday was our best flunking day ever hands down, I thought the fish were on the feed bag because of the weather.
