Any interest in a friendly NJF competition for this Saturday's Fluke Tourney ? If so, post team name and members so we can agree the stakes. The more teams the merrier. You can then settle up with us at the Picnic :p
Signed Team Blind Squirrel: Dales, Fin Reaper Glenn, Richie Tropics, Jakesdad Henry, Larry Hartattack & the inimitable GDubya George

Maybe we make it an individual competion since we're already heavily invested in our respective teams. . . . And it would be more for bragging rights than anything else . . .
This Calcutta would be open to NJF members fishing in Saturday's Elks tourney who reply to this thread stating that they are in. This way we can even compete against our own teammates. Afterall, this is the Flukin' Super Bowl for us :p Let's set the entry fee at "5 banana skins" and we can settle up at the post-tourney picnic. Hopefully our NJF winner will also be on the Tourney leaderboard, but if not, we'll use the "honor system" to declare a winner . . .
OK - who's in besides me

You have to check in with committee at inlet wall via VHF with your entrant # and then it's a shotgun start when flare goes up @ 6AM. You have to have boat inside the inlet.

We normally get a 100 per boat bet honor system 1 person collects and gives out only let in people we trust... Based on weight and there must be a picture of fish on one of the 2 scales run by ELKS... We have been doing this for about 6 years now LAB Started it off back then... Past years we see Around 10 boats... Most of the time winner of side bet is on the board anyway for added bonus... If fish weigh same it gets split just like party boat rules... So who is up to run it team BNR is in... Sean

Didn't hear who won...my fish was 3.6 on the digital scale on boat anyone weigh a bigger one? Our boat had a 6.4lb as our largest fish out of 9 keepers and a nice knuckle head sea bass

Team Blind Squirrel had 15 keeper Fluke, 4 nice SeaBass but no tourney contenders  Props to GDubya who broke out of his Googan Funk and landed his limit of Fluke.
Dave Dales got a fat 22"er but we didn't weigh the sucker. Chart below shows it may have edged Sharky Mike's 3.6 and Chris' 21"er, but I did not see Bunker Dunker Ed nor Rob B at the picnic. Ed/Rob did you get one bigger than those ? Let us know so we can settle up . . . Thx

BUT.... I would contest here that SOMEONE....in the thread voted to use a PICTURE of the fish(longest ) to determine the winner..I believe I have only seen 1 picture offered as evidence as to size of any fish??...3.6 was an average of a wavering digital scale on a rocking boat. Fish was loooooong!!!!:D. A lot of typing here to justify $30+

OK - I have heard from all our contestants and the winner is _________
SharkyMike got a 3.6 lb'er weighed on a shaking boat. Dales got a fat 22"er witnessed by Team Blind Squirrel. Chris got a 21"er on Fish Stix.
My suggestion is that ALL contestants send their 5 banana skins to SSFFF PO Box 86, Brielle NJ 08730 . . . . What say you ?
