Have to give my daughter credit, she and a friend decided to do a hard core road trip
They left NY Sunday morning in time to jump on the afternoon porgy trip on a non-sponsor in Hyannis. Fishing was slow to start but picked up. They managed to fill a tote by the end of a trip with large but not slab sized porgies
They stayed over and went on the all day limited load trip to Nantucket. Wind and tide were in the same direction causing a very fast drift. They were dragging bait with 20 - 30 ouches of lead. (which at 5 - 3 and 115 pounds is a lot of lead to lift) :)
my daughter said she had 4 or 5 fish to 5 pounds, her friend had 1 keeper on her very first attempt at fluking
Said boat had mixed results, waiting to hear what biggest fish weighed. They decided to get some sleep and drove back down this morning in time for the friend to be at work at 8:30
Have to give credit for 2, 24 year old girls to do such a fishing road trip
