Fish Monger II Fri 7/3 Fluke to 7 lbs Well our first full day bouncing jigs for flatties. 7 man crew today... Had a wicked current with the wind in morning making for a super fast drift in the deep... over 1.5knts... plucked a couple but it was tough. As it slowed down we starting picking at a few nicer keepers. Just a slow grind pick had to work hard for em but considering the conditions and reports lately I was happy we scraped up what we did. 7 guys boxed up 26 keepers all on gulp... along with some ling n a couple seabass. Def could have been better but it's a start.
