Party boat Angler Saturday Report

The conditions kept us in the bay today and the weater was pretty nice for the most part. The action was good with the shorts and a couple of keepers each drift. a number of anglers had there best trip of the year and a few had 3 keepers which was good for an abbreviated trip. Fishen Willie took the pool with a nice 6 pound fluke, one of two 6 pound fluke on board.

We had an engine problem late morning and docked early. The problem is fixed and we will be back out tomorrow Sunday. Only a couple of pictures today as the mates were very busy on the way in. Thanks to every one who sailed with us today.

The forecast looks good for tomorrow with SW winds. Galley Open

Conditions held up for most of our trip , little windy towards the end and little cool but totally fishable and not bad at all.

The fishies were there but they didn't want what I had all morning. When I was jigging they were taking bait, when I switched to bait I saw them caught on jigs and when I did catchem and set the hook they were all shorts not even worth measuring. Some guys had 3 and at least 1 for some around the boat, not bad for a smaller crowd , bait outfished jigs today IMHO

Keepers were caught all around me today and Willies pool winner (best 10 bucks you ever spent ? - :D). I googaned all morning and back to uber sucking once again but hey that is fishing and just didn't have it today-operator error.

It was late morning and Capt. G starts the engine and you hear this sound that just didnt sound good at all.I know very little in general about life and even less about boat engines but that sound was not good.

I cant thank Capt. George , Big Gorski and John for doing an awesome job getting us back to the slip on 1 engine and docking safely.

I have never seen Gorski move so fast and fight his genetic makeup to take control and do one hell of a job . All kidding aside - Joe you rock and are awesome very impressed- great job Capt n crew. Capt. G did us right and gave the whole boat credit towards our next trip - First class all the way. Glad to hear it was only a minor repair and cant wait for next weeks trip sir.

So recap- Fishing was good for those who don't suck and know how to fish ( AKA ME / Goooganus Maximus ) . Trip was cut short do to mechanical problems - Capt. G and Crew did and awesome job getting us back and did a solid for all his customers.

P.S. - some patrons blamed me for the mechanical issues and I don't think so AKA - Famous T Shirt Guy - I might suck at fishing but have nothing to do with boat engines and I was on the boat last week and everything was fine and if I had that power I would be a whole lot richer-:D

Since when do you fish weekends?

I guess you need to bring your inner Googan to a new suckingness level ?

I try and go at least once every weekend - 1 day Fishy - 1 day House and Home/ try to appease the Wife-fe on the other day.
In reality I only try to make the species happy 1 day a week , it is futile to try the other 6 days, so 1 good day is better then none.

Always keep there expectations low so when you do exceed your idiot limit they will be slightly impressed. As of right now she sits here and mocks me for writing this . They are a fickle an angry species , to survive , must keep mouth shut, throw compliments, try to appease by them things that make them happy (going out now and buying her a new IPhone and my kitchen sink is leaking and need to replace the drain - hopefully all of this = more fishing - :D

Going this Friday Actually with the wife and Sunday hopefully solo
Wife/God/Mother Nature and Googan Pending - In that order - :D
