Paramount Monday Marathon

Fishing was slow at the dock this morning, one swing and a miss on a bass. Went out with lots of people including Blackfish Doug and Topeka Boy. Fishing started out pretty slow inshore. We worked out deeper and had a decent pick of ling with some sea bass and flounder in among the pout. We stayed out late and every spot produced a decent shot of mixed sea bass and ling. Pool was a 5lb cod. I wound up with a 1 1/2lb lobster, 7 sea bass and 13 ling. Doug had a big flounder, 4 sea bass with 2 nice ones and 7 ling. Some of the ling were over 2lbs which is a change from this past winter and spring. If the congos calm down a bit, linging should be pretty decent.

It was great to be fishing again with you Kurt. I thought it was a pretty good day I made up 2 nice bags of filets for my In Law & my wife's boss so I got rid of a few requests for fish put away for the time being.

Kirk, K...I...R...K...not Kurt.:D Little less wind and I think we would have done well drifting for sea bass. You got your flounder and I got a lobster while talking about catching lobster. Not a bad day at all.

Sorry about that Kirt I must have had Star trek on my mind .I guess I was thinking about Scottie beaming you up a lobster. That really was kind of weird we were just talking about that seconds before you actually landed it.

Nice fishing with you guys. boat was railed I wanted to get off but my Buddy and his grandson wanted to stay I didn't have a good day catching keepers mostly shorts . I had 4 keeper sea bass:eek: and 3 ling. I was in tangles all day due to Capt power drifting with the large crowd.:mad:
