Went on a Fisharc charter on he Russian Roulette. Left the dock at 2:07 AM and started fishing at around 7:30AM. It was game on from start to finish. By 11 AM we had our limits and were headed back to Point Pleasant. Capt Dennis knows where the blue lines live and does an outstanding job of controlling the boat on long productive drifts. Double headers were common and we saw a number of 20+ pound blue lines hit the deck. A significant number of smaller tiles were vented and returned to the sea.

We were lucky to land two beautiful snowy groupers (16 and 20 pounds).

Capt Dennis and mate Steve did a professional job from start to finish. As you can see from the pictures below Capt. Dennis was still smiling at the end of a sixteen hour work day.

Great trip! The larger grouper is actually a yellow edge grouper.

Alex, if we changed places you would fish more but catch less. I have the time, you have the skill.

Nobody tried jigging. We only fished for about four hours and we all wanted to maximize our catch in the the time available. We ate very little and there were very few bio breaks.

Thanks for all the kind comments.
