Fish Monger II Sat 6/20 Seabass Limit (12 man ) to 4 1/4 lbs / Ling /Cod - Well broke the inlet and the ocean was nice so we took the steam back to the area we been fishing. Got 3/4 of the way n it was like a different ocean. Pretty lumpy ne 20... anyhow fought thru it... anchored up and had em coming pretty quick... had to weed thru shorts but good amount of keepers w em... picked n plucked and had a decent catch but when the wimd backed off we took a ride to a cherry n it was game over. Drop n reel w Doubles flying and some real nice size couple more over 4 lbs today some ling n some keeper cod. Boxed up another hundo... Pounded away until the box was filled with a 12 man limit of 180 seabass couple 20 ling 5 cod. Also threw back some tog. Over 200 fish in the box Turned out to b a great day of fishing despite the weather...even got Joe Murray a Philly bucket if Robins n eels. Passing on tomorrow b back at it mon thanks guys!!!

Truth in reporting..................................
Me, Directa, evan the shrink,smooth D-Arch, & cousin rick were joined with monger virgins: Cousin Jerry, Charlie da monster, ADAldino,Bridesburg Jimmy,Henry Kilo,& special coleman. Came out the inlet at 5:50 was not abd at all got up to the stone pony it was a different ocean legit 7-8s burying Hanks bow but the new boat steamed through with ease barely even wobbled! Got to the canyon set up on the anchor lock & load as soon as ya hit the bottom double headers, alot of pins but weeded through for some nice keeps. Made a few shifts on the anchor & same result. Wind actualy backed off abit & Hank made a few moves & it was lock & load keeps! Biggest sea bass you gonna find inshore cousin rick had 1 pushing 5lbs alot of 2-3lbs no measuring needed! ended up with 180 keeps total for a charter limit plus! Also had 7 keeper cod out of 10 caught,around 20 ling, some ginormo silver eels, a huge skate,epic flying whiting bite, 1 throwback fluke,plenty of toss back togs on the top hook with squid strips on the drift! No bergalls though so thats lame.

This was a bunch of guys from works first time on the monger & for 1 or 2 either there first fishing trip or maybe 2nd & they all cannot get over the operation. They said they didn't even turn around & john or Nate was there to unhook there fish. Also they individually coached them & taught them when to swing & how to hook the baits all my buddies just could not get over the level of service displayed on the fish monger. They all said they cannot wait til there sons & daughters are a little older so they can come out on the monger because there is no other boat they want there kids introduced to the game on.Cousin Jerry said " I caught more double headers today, than I caught fish in my life"! Was nice to have captain Hank back running the boat after that Jerry guy the last 2 trips...........
