After a beautiful day on the wrecks yesterday, mother nature had other plans today. Stiff E/NE winds made my father and i change plans at the dock. Headed to the reach channel for a shot at some fluke. with a drift speed ranging from 1.7 to 2.3 knots, that was a no go. As we headed for home (around 945)we saw birds diving, and monster blues flying out of the water. Made a few casts with diamond jigs and rubber shads and it was game on. After fighting 20 fish we decided to call it a day with the increasing wind. no pictures, all blues were netted and released. hope to get back out in the ocean before the seabass limits drop.
