headed out with full intentions on getting in on all the recent seabass action, but we just couldn't resist trying for some stripers...or should i say ghost stripers! after a few hours we realized we didn't care enough about stripers to sit there all day with our fingers crossed hoping one would swim by double header dogfish tangled mess helped fuel that thought process as well haha.

so we picked up and headed out to try some spots. First spot had a sickly looking fluke covered in sea lice and a sun dial. we started bouncing around a little and finally found some seabass. it was slow but we managed 10 seabass each with 4 keepers for john and 2 for me. It seemed like as soon as we found a bite the wind started blowing and the bite died.

we popped back into the bay and couldn't help but hit some fluke on the way back in. started putting shorts over the side fairly quick and it didn't take long for us to get 2 keeper fluke in the boat and 6 shorts...nothing too big but not bad fluking for an after thought!
