FISH STIX - Late Reports

Hey Guys,

Been a while since I've posted any reports. Been very busy. We have been fishing everyday the weather allows us, mornings and afternoons. Unfortunately there hasn't been any real signs of stripers around much. But the guys still want to try for a while. Then off to seabass fishing. So far we have sea bassed only a few days with not much at all to show for our efforts. Catching a big mix of shorts and keepers but no where near what I want to see. But the guys have been keeping busy instead of boat rides for bass that don't exist. We are gonna still probably gonna do some looking first thing then switch to bottom for seabass or fluke.

Sorry, I have not been taking any photos really.

Got to the boat for the afternoon trip today eager to fish.
With stripers as plan A, but we all know they are not cooperating
Plan B was sea bass which has slowed upm
Plan C was to do some shark hunting.

$ in hand, the captain says the fishing is just not good and didnt want to take us on an expensive boat ride.

Gave us the option to cancel which was STAND UP!!

HOW MANY OTHER CAPTAINS WOULD HAVE TOOK THE $
CASH AND SAID, SORRY THE BITE TURNED OFF.

It is an honorable thing to do, without a doubt. But ya gotta be in it to win it. Sounds like there was some pretty good bass fishing this afternoon, at least according to NS out of PP. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.
