We were fishing off the tip of the Hook on Wednesday and caught 2 of these. We had never seen one before so can anyone help with the identify of this fish ?

A flying fish, that is what the wings are for. They usually fly north for the summer. I guess a few haven`t left yet.

thats a summer philly monkfish! be careful of the shock but they are delicious
