The bass are starting to come out of the Hudson after spawning. It should get better if the bunker stick around. The Chesapeak fish are late and i have reports of bass 10 miles out and that is not good. We need some west wind and the ocean should get better for the migrating bass. It is only June 10 and looking in my log book that is when we started going ocean side when i chartered full time. It is not over by any means it is just late and the wind is wrong.Just last week Capt Al Ristori caught multiple bass loaded with green spawn. Just when you think ya have it all down to a science they change there pattern. Go figure.
