Saturday morning we had the Holthausen girls form South Carolina on board for some sea bass fishing. Mom had some experience fishing but the Carly and Jessica were total novices, after a couple quick lessons from master angler Dave and few swings and misses the ladies got to work filling the box.

Next up on Sunday was Ron Rosetto and boys from Toms River, again what was supposed to be a striper live lining trip turned into plan B wreck fishing due to the slow reports. Our first drop was a slow pick and a lot of throw backs, so we picked up and headed to one of my favorite postage stamp size wrecks. We made a quick drift and I missed the main piece by a couple yards but everyone still managed to hook up. It was a no brainer to go back and set out the anchors, as soon as I came tight everyone was doubled over. We picked away at sea bass, ling and a couple of nice size Tog that were lovingly released with the promise that we would back for them in November.
