Hello all,
Like everyone else we spent last week tied to the dock with the relentless ne wind. The good news is it fixed the cold water problem n bottom bite. Havent been bothering with searching for stripers and been heading right to the bottom grounds bc the Seabass bite is nothing short of phenomenal!!! Some of the best size fish we seen inshore (and a lot of them ) in recent years.
Sat 6/6 Am Seabass Boat Limit (12man) to 4lbs Finally back out after losing a week to the northeast wind. No stripes so we went right to the grizzle. Pics tell the story it was LOCK N LOAD knuckle heads!!! All nice size fish. Pounded away for the crews limit by 10 am and a full 12 boat limit of 180 seabass shortly after. Also had a couple dozen ling n a couple cod. Crew was blast as always thanks again guys!
Sat 6/6 Pm Afternoon Seabass Limit to 3.5 lbs - Well had Barry Brown and the boys down for what was supposed to b a afternoon striper trip. no bass no problem...Rather than search for Unicorns the guys opted to cash in on the bottom fishing and weren't disappointed. Not as quick as the am but still a good bite. Had nice fish from every stop until the guys boxed up a limit of nice seabass. Thanks again guys
Sun 6/7 Seabass Limit (11 man ) John and the fams turn at some cbasss!!! Was another great day to b on the water. The girls kicked some serious seabass but today! 170 keepers on the ice! Had to work for em n move around more today but Nice action all day with lots of nice quality fish... the crew did an awesome job filling up the box... pics tell the story and another basket was cut already dozen ling 3 cod n let a couple nice blackfish go. Get em while ya can! Thanks again Guys!!!
Over 500 keepers met the fillet knife this weekend Big bags of tasty treats for all. check out the size in the pics ... enjoy! thanks all Capt Jerry
