Was invited out to montauk for the weekend. Friday, private boat with tomatoes. Saturday invited on a charter by my former boss. Can't wait. Will report from the east tomorrow

Fluking was hot mem day wknd. My father and his buddies had limits to 9 lb 10 oz. Bucks, balls, dead sticking... It all worked on the south side. Cod fishing on the other hand left a lot to be desired in the areas where he's had success this time of year in the past. Eager to read your report! Ya might see him out there... Boat name Shannon D.

Day one. Four very nice keepers for me. All 4/5 pounds. Dozen shorts. Tired as hell! Heading to the barn now. Dead tired but happy!

And for the record... Those dock planks are 2x4s ;), and that was a 16lb bluefish that bit the left side of the tail... He caught that on the stinger and stripped it for the next keeper!

Got our limit of bass to 25 pounds (I got the big one for the pool)

Still fluking. I have a six that is so far leading the pool.
