It was a slow start for us today with fewer shorts and keepers. I hit a few spots where we had good fishing yesterday and not many bites. The water had cooled off a bit and it wasn't till the flood tide slowed that the fluke began to chew. I ended up going back to where we started the day and the fluke were chewing. We had a number of nice fish over 5 pounds today. Janice Thompson from Newberg NY had the pool fish today just inching out Jimmy. It was a lot windier and it felt more like April than June, With the east wind forecast for the next few days it is sure nice being able to stay in the bay.
7:00AM sailing tomorrow first boat out and on the grounds.
Thanks captain George
