This is a great video. It's amazing how hard they hit the bait and how persistent they are. That squid wanted no part of the fluke.

I am no expert, but being able to feel the bite, and knowing how to work the fish is the key imo.
Great video thanks for sharing.

Another great video Mr. Skinner- I am amazing how far the fluke will swim along with the bait after inhaling it. Looking forward to the next one!

Really great work! Could watch videos like that all day long. Remember as a kid fishing on the Long Branch Fishing pier which was I would guess in 25 to 30 feet of water at the end. There were many times when fluke would follow a bait to the surface while the anglers was reeling in to recast and hit right on top. In those days it was all strips of either squid or fluke belly, no buck tails. Couldn't believe how aggressive the fluke were, how far they'd swim to grab a bait and how lightening fast they were.

What size fluke on average were they in your video, looked to be 2 - 3 lb fish? Reason I ask is have you noticed different behavior of fluke towards a buck tail based on their size? Are smaller fish more aggressive than larger or the opposite? Also have you noticed any difference in color of the buck tails used relative to how aggressive the fluke were towards it.

Thanks so much for sharing, really is a great video.
