5-27-15 We got out to the sea bass grounds in good conditions today,,,stayed nice most of the day out there,got lumpy at the end of the day with a gusty south wind but only for the ride home...Fishing was good for some guys on the boat,,,some ended up with both some nice sea bass,,,and some had a couple of keeper codfish to go home with as well.I saw some nice double header sea bass come up and also take notice the pool winner and some of the nicer fish today were caught with gulp swimming mullets,,chartruese,,,...some guys did not do well and stuggled...No real reason,,,some spots had some fish on them today and I would see fish coming up scattered around the whole boat,,,other spots were dead and we would move quickly....So lots of trial and error today and in the end I guess I was happy that some guys caught but not happy that I couldnt get everyone dialed in,,we did have a nice size gang onboard.....Still it was a good day overall and I was glad to be on the sea bass grounds,,,caught some ling to and threw back quite a few blackfish believe it or not...We are heading right back out there in the morning..the weather looks nice..see ya for coffee!!!Check out a few pics..
