My weekend started out upstate(Thursday Night) NY
- Fishing Friday with my daughter and nephew on Stissing Lake from the shore! What a blast watching them enjoy the day. Total was not impressive but amazing; 5 large mouth bass, 1 pickerel, and to many pan fish to count. Cocktails Friday night
-Saturday, up early chasin the Gobblers around Dutchess County NY. No birds all day until 15 Min before 12pm. A monster Gobbler going crazy(and for all of you that hunt my heart was in my mouth!) to the point where I almost could not call. I worked him hard and saw him about 80 yards away but just could not pull the trigger. The down side was my buddy who was going to meet me had my fighting pur calls which would have landed me that old t-rex Gobbler. He won.
Cocktails Saturday
-Sunday, I receive a text message report that the Bucktail boys product was working out in Southhold LI. Dr. Pete Rocked the Fluke up to 29 inches. All fish picked up on teasers accept the Monster! He also loaded up on 3-4 lb porgies as well as monster blue fish! What a great day for the doc and his family.
Sunday, my family and I attended one of my best friends sons events. We help raise money for things that he needs as far as medical devices, home improvement as well as additional medical expenses. He has a very rare illness and this is what friends and family do! We help each other out. Next year they are specifically changing the charity over to help other families who are battling the same fight. I urge you to take a look into this for a few minutes as see the battle that these children endure.(as well as the families.) My buddy and his wife are amazing people and I truly feel only strong people like them are gifted with children who suffer because I know(without speaking for anyone else) I could NEVER walk a day in there shoes! God Bless.
No Cocktails--just an amazing event! @La Puerta Azul

Take a Kid Fishing and keep giving back as there is nothing better!
