The bite was nothing like the past couple of days today. We did slug away at the Blues in the AM with a pick on big fish, just enough to keep it interesting.
Drifted for a while but that didn't make a difference in the bite.
Waited for the change of tide as the past couple of days that's when the fishing got hot. Like clock work, as we came around on the anchor, the first Bass was on. Greg Groff Northampton, PA landed a beautiful 25 pound fish for the pool followed by Vaughn Burkhoder, Manville NJ with an 18 pound Bass. Last but not least was my buddy Rob Rizzo, Boonton NJ with a Great 23 pound fish.
Lost a few more fish and landed some more Big Blues before the day ended. Great day on the water with a very nice group of customers.
Just a note to those Trolling over the weekend, it's usually not a good idea to troll across someone's Bow who is at anchor when the current is "SETTING" you down on them.....makes you look like an Ass when everyone looses their rigs in the guys anchor. Makes it worse when you are a "For Hire Boat"......Have a Great weekend folks!
