how is the surf fishing on sandy hook?

I'll be in the area tomorrow and am trying to decide on surf fishing the hook or going out on a party boat. Anybody been having any luck from the beach?

I'd jump on a party boat since your chances are always better when you can move around.

Just headed back in from being on a party boat. All bluefish, not a single bass was caught on the boat. Guess I'll try the surf this evening.
