started off clamming but switched to trolling on a tip (didn't really give clams a chance, but we made a move to the fish reports). the area was a mad house and trolling through morons that couldn't hold a straight line, and thought cutting you off when you're both trolling is ok, became annoying really fast so we decided to move to the outskirts of the mass pile of boats where we had some room.

It was kind of slow but we picked up 4 stripers, all over 28" and up to 35.5" but let one go and never found another one to keep so we were left 1 short of boat limit haha.

Only one bluefish caught while reeling in a clam to switch over to trolling haha. after trolling stopped producing all together we switched back to clamming but got nothing at all and called it a day before the afternoon bite probably started.

Yeah moving away from everyone was a good bet, maybe a few less fish but much less aggravating.

Nice pictures.Pics. of dead piles of fish on the dock are not the way to go. The color in the fish the guy is holding up is outstanding.
