My old landing net broke when landing a fish the other day so when I stopped to pick up some bait at Atlantic Bait and Tackle, I was looking for a replacement...

Not sure about you all but I usually have the net stowed in rocket launcher when not using it. When you need it most and in a hurry it's almost always tangled up in a fishing pole or something and then I have to listen to Joey Dah Fish screaming for the net

Pete saw me mulling over the choices and said, come here and let me show you something.

He brings out this new Frabill net where the net itself gets stowed inside the handle when it's not is use  VERY COOL and had to have it.

Check it out

Wow, that looks like a great idea. Curious to see how it holds up when someone on the boat decides to lift the fish with the pole horizontal. That always drives me crazy even with a rigid net.

Its even better when some nit whit know it all on a party boat does that!

Just looked at a couple of video promos and the handle looks like its a large diameter. Does it fit in your rod holders?

You rose to this like a trout to a fly Giant Fan :D

Got me too and a few others who saw it on the boat.

And yes, it does fit in the rocket launcher and pole holders.

Says it's salt water approved but I'd bet its going to need a little extra TLC to keep it working right.... Spray it down with the poles and reels at the end of the day and maybe some WD40 once and a while.

A customer grabbing the net is a mortal sin and one of my biggest pet peeves. Even after watching us land fish the right way they'll still flapjack the fish into the boat, usually nailing at least one guy in the head while they do it.

That net there seems like a clever solution and Frabill usually makes quality stuff.

Yeah man, sick and tired of my net getting caught on the reels. Looks like I will be getting one of these for sure.

Just the idea of NOT having the net get caught on a reel handle was a good reason to look .

BUT the reviews of the net on many of the places that sell it are real BAD

seems like a great idea that needs some tweaking, which im sure Frabill will do

My first thought is 'that's going to break' but I'm also sure frabil will back it up if that happens.
