Last year I blew out a gimbal pin in one of the rod holders in my t-top rocket launcher. Before I drill a hole straight through it and put a stainless screw through it, would anyone have another solution to fixing it? Could a new one be easily tacked in with out burning the powder coat/paint? Thanks!

hmm - looks like your t top and rocket launchers are powder coated. I'm no welder but I would think trying to welding the gimble pin back in would ruin your powder coating and that would look nasty.

What you might try to do is fabricate a gimble pin and use some expoxy based stuff like liquid weld to hold it in.

Thanks Gerry, That's worth a shot before I go to more surgical tactics. I think I still have the broken pin section laying around somewhere.
