A windowpane flounder that I caught, tagged and released in Manasquan Inlet 11/7/2014 was recaptured and released with the tag intact by a NMFS observer on a scallop dredge 38.5 nm ese of Barnegat Inlet, NJ, 4/12/2015 for my 239th fish tag return.

It grew from 11.5" to 12.2" in 5 months. A bluefish that I tagged last year at 21" fork length was recaptured 3 months later at 28" tip of the tail length and went from 4 lb to 8 lb.
