4-13-15 Very nice day today offshore,,flat calm and warm out there..Water up to 41 degrees which is great,,,plenty of bites on the bottom..the perch are really getting frisky out there...Caught a few codfish early,,problem was most of what we caught especially early in the day were shorts,,mostly 19 inch fish.Not good for keepers today,,,the afternoon did give us better shots at keepers including a really nice fish that weighed in at 30lbs....but overall not very productive for the boat as a whole with keepers...I also saw some other big fish busted off and at times they were under the boat but just couldnt get em to chew...Any way a nice day out with a great group of people!!!Tomorrow we are fishing,,light winds forecasted and some rain but we can deal with that...See ya in the morning..
