PP canal

Just wondering if anyone has tried the canal for toy togs yet? I have off next week and I can't wait to start fishing both fresh and salt.

I was afraid of that- thanks for the recon. I will give it a shot next week and I hope the water temps rise a bit more. Either that or try throwing some clams in the surf for schoolies.

I was there around 6 tonight and there was nobody fishing. I visited my 3 favorite spots on my way to a party in Point.

I think the water temp is still a little too cold. I took a shot at spearfishing shark river inlet(cold enough to make a outie into a innie)- only saw one 2 in bergall in the rocks. Should happen any day though- make sure to fish the sunny side...

Even the flounder guys using worms are mostly striking out. Bass are non- existent
