Cod fishing on russian roulette on monday

So on Saturday the weather did not look like it was going to cooparate .Sunday afternoon comes I get a call from Cpt.Denis ,he says we are going. Headed out with a good crew Vince (Directa) , Jeff, Chris and yours truly . First two spots we hit little life and mostly shorts well Cpt.Denis wanted none of that so we took a ride and made a stop short of our destination .Lines down and it was game on. Stupid fishing , the kind we all like .Double headers of cod and polock of 10-15lbs plus. Hook a cod on the bottom then as you reel up hook polock.many fish over 15lbs . Cod & polock up to 25lbs .Just insane drop and reel . Filled a body bag and a cooler then wind picked up.Cpt wanted to make a few more stops but we opted to go home .Arms were tired and fish was plenty .Another great trip .3 for 3 for me so far this year. Thank you Cpt. Denis and mate Eddie .Great job as always.:):):):):):):)

First time on the boat for me and thanks again to David for the invite. The captain and Ed did a great job keeping us on fish all day. Like David said...cod and pollock all day. Sore arms and fried fish...

Bait or jig

To be honest...it didn't matter if it was bait or a jig. Both caught well. Jigs were getting hammered as fiercely and quickly as the bait.
