Does anyone know if RV opened up? Suppose it has, don't want to drive out & be surprised.

Actually according to a post on here, it is still locked up, although I'm very sure not safe to walk on. Maybe by this weekend opened.

Save yourself the time and money. It's still frozen. Not safe enough to walk on IMO. No one was on any portion of it yesterday. Around the north tower, the ice was slushy and some water was showing along the foundation. The swimming beach, boat launches, and along the shores was still iced in. There was some melting in the shallows by the scuba diving area, but not much. You can't even fish from shore. Spruce Run has water near the inlet creeks, however. Stocking RV will have to be done closer to opening day, if then.

Is RVTA planning to stock before the state does or has that been put on hold?

Thanks for the info. Want to head over & fish from shore; have a bucket of shiners w/aerator on right here in my study, but glad I know better than to waste the time. Our neighborhood bass pond's been open since Thursday. Ponds: first to freeze, first to thaw. I could apply bait there after the medical building personnel go home, but don't feel like it. We had such action w/lakers just before the freeze I'm still over there, really.
