Attention fisherman! Lost science equipment!

ORB LAB is asking beach combers and fisherman to keep their eyes open for lost science equipment. The ice in the bay stole some of the equipment off moorings in the DE bay. They are hoping some will wash up on shore. They are black cylinders that record data for people doing research for biology in the bay. You can check out their website here.

Haha I asked the same thing! They said as an organization they have very little extra money, but maybe some small swag (like a pen) or a tour of their lab could be arranged. I also was told they don't exactly float or sink...

Likely tracking Sturgeon but the receivers track whatever is sending out signals.
They can be crushed by the ice...which of course can allow water in:(
