Stuck in Florida for a few weeks decided to give these sheepheads a shot. I couldn't find crabs in local bait shops so I went by the inlet turned over about 600 rocks and ended up with 20 crabs. I also picked up some live shrimp for back up. I tried a few spots but the pier at boynton beach produced the most. I ended up with 9 keepers and a bunch of other stuff I couldn't identify.my biggest sheepshead was 18 1/2 inches not sure how good that is but I had a lot of fun with these guys. Tomorrow I'm going to hit the beach for some pompano I heard they running strong right now.

I spent a lot of time fishing the Boynton Inlet when I was a kid. There's lots of stuff around there. Sibiki rigs for live bait worked very well. That live bait was good for all sorts of fish. If the bait died, we used it for cut bait. It's a nice place to be stuck.

Caught some 24'' to 19'' black drum and some 16'' sheeps head today. Nice on the grill. Intracoastal in flat calm water. Friday we had some monster snook in the 40'' range at Sebastian inlet. They were too big and had to go back.Same day had all the small blues you could want and some sheeps head. Friday was 87 and sunny. This week we are going for cobia and mahi. Florida is good but I will be back for the stripers!!!!!! The triple tail are also in and they are great eating! Going to hit the Tuna Wahoo soon. The other old retired guy lol

Sounds like you've had an awesome time, Sebastian inlet is a great place to fish. I only been there once. Tomorrow I'll be fishing in cocoa beach about an hour north of there.
