I may have an opportunity to fish White meadow Lake in Rockaway this weekend which is a private lake. The home owner I know says it is stocked with trout, hybrids, tiger musky, pike, walleye and channel cats :D Don't know if its true but yikes that a lot of nice fish. Has anyone ever fished it?

Haven't fished it personally but I believe the info you have is true. All those species are illegedly in WM. There's a few anglers on this site that do fish it so hopefully they'll share some info or send you a PM! Let us know how you do. Good luck!!!!

it is stocked very well but also has a good following of dedicated anglers and its tough fishing. its not stocked heavily in that you go and catch one of each every time you are out, but theres always the chance to do so. Its a typical put your time in lake and if you know it well you will do better than most ppl, alot of muskie inc guys fish it and C+R is highly regarded there

Absolutely correct. Not too many of each species but a patient soul can be rewarded with a few decent fish. I was the go to guy for hybrids 5 years ago. Not sure what the hybrid situation now is, but a few pike and Walleye still caught. Huge channel cats and carp. But don't even try to get on the lake without a badge. Lots of ball busting. c & R all the way

Fished WML yesterday, it was slow, there were four of us and we caught around a dozen pickerel, a half dozen bass, one perch, one crappie and one cat fish. My buddy did get a 6-1/4 pound bass though which was a nice fish. All the musky, pike , walleye, trout and hybrids are still swimming cause we didn't get any of those, lol. Still all in all a good day with sandwiches, hot gumbo and back straps on Italian bread! Will try to post a pic of the bass later

Here the pics, there one of my buddy holding his bass then one of me holding his fish, his picture doesn't do justice to the size of the fish because he is about 6'-3" and 250 pounds plus

Nice bass! Can anyone get a WML badge? Wouldn't think so, since it's not municipal, but just making sure.

I'm sure you have to live there.

Nice haul of fish, always a nice surprise to get some catfish. Kept and ate one for the first time the other week and it was good!

Must live on WML and pay $625/year in association fees. Not worth a few fish though. That's a lot of launch fees worth

Nice 22" estimated bass. This is the biggest one I've seen come out in person. This hog would push 7 in the spring for sure. I know the area you fished, for other species I would target a different area this late in a season
