Key Step Toward Improving Recreational Fishing Data
Last fall, NOAA Fisheries announced a plan to move to a new mail survey to estimate shore and private boat recreational fishing trips. The first step in this transition is now underway as NOAA Fisheries begins the process of running the new mail survey alongside the existing telephone survey.
