New Session Added on Life Saving Using AED's (Automatic External Defibrillators)
OK Folks - 40 Tickets Left - and things just got better. We always start our Seminars discussing safety first and so we've added a new session with the folks from
Keep The Beat CPR & First Aid Training (www.ktbtraining.net). At their booth they will be training our attendees all day long on CPR techniques. But more interestingly - they will be training us all on the proper use of automatic external defibrillators.
We are buying one for each of our boats this year and should have had them for years but without training we didn't want them - well that changes next week as all of our speakers plan on doing their own training with these folks before the Seminar starts.
Personally I think this alone is worth the price of admission.

For the New York Seminar I'm happy to announce the addition of a Captain from Shinnecock to that arguably spends more time on the water than anyone in New York with 250 days on the water and 200 of them offshore every year. More than that - he use to run my boats as well! I'm pleased to announce that Capt. Mark DeCabia will join Capt. Walter Harmstead in their combined Big-Eye breakout session. This already took place during our AC Seminar last month and it was a fan favorite.

Just had to include this testimonial first - what can we say but that all of us that put on the Seminar are humbled by the following response we got from someone who has been a major player in the offshore fishing industry for generations. The poon harpoons session and the Reel Seat session on rigging were new ones for me and both were excellent additions to your program. Seminar was very good....
Our group had a great time, learned a lot and spent some money on things we really needed for my boat. This year will be only our second fishing season but now we have renewed confidence we will catch more than we did last season.

Even though I have some offshore tuna fishing the core class was chocked full of info....All in all it all lived up to my expectations. Great crowd and very informative.
