Hey guys and gals. With this weather lately I'm sure our local tackle shops and captains are taking it on the chin. So while we are not fishing perhaps we can spend some time and money at the local tackle shops or even booking some chapters. Maybe even getting a gift certificate for an up coming birthday etc. they are always there for us let's be there for them. Community and fellowship is everything. Best to all. I'm going shopping :) getting my self a Valentine's day gift :D

Took your advice and drove down to the shore (about 70 miles) on Saturday. It was time I bit the bullet and got some Tile Fish gear from the boys at Reel Seat. Not only did I pick up some nice gear but received some great advice as well...it was just nice to talk fishing during this long winter.
Stopped by to see the new Voyager before she ships up to the boat yard for a few weeks..beautiful boat. Kleins was back open a little bit north and had myself a great meal prior for my departure back inland. Did stop at both Squan and SR inlets along with some other tackle shops and it was good to see the ocean/rivers again. It was great to see other winter weary anglers too.
