Time to start snowmobiling now it's fun but not nearly as much as waiting for that thump thump :D
I here you brother. Once that water temps approach 40 or below it means the kiss of death to our winter togging. Even capt I fish with down south has closed it down for feb as water temps are 39 and will not go until sometime in March. I am still going to try one more time in NJ on the OE and see if I kind find that one bite and break Paulies heart:D

but wait, I thought the oceans were overheating due to global warming???... We always saw ocean temps in the 30's in the dead of winter, but that was in the 70's before the advent of global warming... I thought by this time we would be catching triggerfish and porgies in Feb, with all the warm water over the past few decades.. I must have missed something// bob...

After the day Jimmy Lee had yesterday I'm not done yet
I would not count out Bobby on the OE as he has caught some big ones in Feb. Two boats I know who went out Sunday out of Cape May went way south. One of the boats was fishing northern VA. Water temp was 44 degrees
