Down Deep Sportfishing
01-31-2015, 11:38 AM
Good morning everyone,
With falling temps and fishing cooling off, we have decided to take a break from sailing and prepare for the upcoming 2015 season. We will have our annual U.S.C.G. inspections and will be ready to sail March 2015 for Raritan Bay Striped Bass and jumbo Winter Flounders.
2014 was an all around banner year at Down Deep. Our customers both returning and new continue to show impressive loyalty week after week. This does not go unnoticed and for which, we are truly grateful. Our catches were solid as well on most trips. There were exceptions, as to be expected, but there were far more that were exceptional ! This is due to the combined decades of knowledge of Capt. Mario, Capt. Rob and our crew that produce results keeping you in the zone. Anthony, the first mate, kept all aboard in the game while working the deck like a champ. Our customer feedback was beyond positive on most every trip. We have formed a solid team, solid friendships and thank everyone for sailing with us. Thanks are also in order for Gerry, all NJFishing members, our marina including dock neighbors and friends as well as all of our suppliers, who never fail to deliver top shelf products and services.
We were first to announce there will be NO fare or rate increase on any trip in 2015. Dock modifications will be underway shortly that will increase room to better accommodate our customers.
With one month of 2015 behind us, we are ecstatic to announce the addition of a 40' RP downeast vessel to our fleet. With minor modifications, her full correct potential will be realized again and will give our customers another, larger platform for some exceptional fishing trips now and in the years to come. We will now have 2 U.S.C.G. certified vessels.
Combined with our crews ability and knowledge, the new DOWN DEEP II will be another equally impressive addition to our fleet. Weather it's your first trip or you're a fisherman like us, there is no difference here. Count on us to provide everyone aboard a great charter or open boat fishing experience every time aboard. We look forward to seeing all our returning friends soon, anticipate making many more during the 2015 season and beyond.
Thanks,
Capt. Mario & crew
