Fish Monger II Tues 1/6 Blackfish to 15.2lbs - Well it was cold and snowy but the ocean was nice... actually to nice... not enough wind to keep the rope tight. The guys wanted to look for big fish over numbers we we went to places I felt they had the best shot. Morning was tough with no breeze or current. Faced every way from due north to sw and everything in between. When we did sit right we picked a few 6 - 9 lbers and we broke a slob off but never long enough to get em going. Finally got enough breeze and Kev rod bent over with another Monger Monster our biggest of the season so far a beautiful teen tog at 15.2lbs he also had one over 9 and limit. AJ had 6 keeps over 6 lb and a 8 and 9. Few others with limits but no other giants ( Wanted 6 of those) . Overall a slow day...Def would have been better but conditions hurt us. Hopefully weather will b better next week going to do a couple more slob hunts and a southern trip. Will keep everyone posted Thanks again guys

cold & snowy but i had at least a limit of tog Capt.Hank & john thought i had 5 but i'm not 1 to exaggerate. saw a 15lb pig caught 6 inches from me thus continuing my legacy of seeing teenage tog caught inches from me while i often end up hi hook i never get the 1! back at it in 11 days
