Moms struggle is over.....

I would like to thank everyone of you who posted and sent PMs over the last few days. The support has been tremendous and helpful.

Fortunately she left us today. I say fortunately because she suffered enough. She will be missed by many and never be forgotten. After she passed we went to a state park and remembered mom while we took a walk thru blue springs state park. The manatees were in with their calves and we couldn't help but think of the circle of life. Moms life will be celebrated instead of mourned.

I can't say enough about the hospice staff. They are very special people and handled us with dignity and respect.

Coming to terms with the 'new normal' a term I heard and now understand. Life goes on. I will always miss my mother, but I am glad I got a chance to say good bye.
