This is not a fake...

that's actually my mom's cousin's wife's sister's daughter's stepfather's father with his neighbor's brother's wife's father and their dentist/friend so i know the true story behind it. they were all fishing for sunnies with flies made out of rare platypus fur when this beast exploded on the surface on all three of their rigs at once!

It battled them for hours one by one cutting the lines until only one hook remained in the outside skin of the lip! but with the fish finally exhausted and into shallow water, they realized they didn't have a net! So they yelled for help to a stranger that was happening by. The man ripped off his clothes and quickly fashioned a net by tethering his garments together and was able to subdue the fish! Unfortunately this unnamed man was swallowed whole by the beast before they could thank him (that's why the fish photo looks fake, there is a man in it's belly...i totally understand your suspicions)

anyway, they quickly photographed the giant pike and released it back from where it came... into the pond in front of pizza hut, in ledgwood, nj so that another lucky angler may one day come face to face with it's presence! I've been fishing there, and only there, for years...only getting so close, so many times...one day i'll get it!

Feel free to join me in my quest and if i'm not there just keep fishing and i'll join you soon!

P.S. don't bother using steel leaders, this fish has titanium teeth and he'll just slice right through it anyway.
