Had a group, which consisted of 3 fisherman aboard the Optimist on Saturday. With my 16 year old son Brendan Rumsby and the other being Chef Mike Reynolds achieving their personal best togs with fish around 10 lbs and 1 that I caught, which was around 14/15 lbs topping my previous best of 14.4 lbs.
The large fish that I caught, dwarfed the other 2 fish at 29 1/2 long. After a great fight, which included 3 runs to the bottom I let the fish go to swim another day.... Special day on the water with 18 keepers being caught with only one fish that had to be measured. There were some real quality fish today with there being 2 around 10 lbs, 2 more around 7/8 lbs and several 3/5 lb fish. All the fish were caught on white leggers in 35 feet of water.
