Didn't like the looks of the local front today. Not as much life as we've had and I didn't like the fact we would loose the tide 2 hours into the trip.....So we took one of the longest rides in Fishermen history!!!
Got to the area and found several patches of Birds working. Short Bass, Blues and a couple keepers but we had the action! Had we stayed local we would have caught Squat! Pretty good Southerly roll which make it cranky but the sunshine and warmer temps certainly made the day.
Night trips are now finished. Capt Dan had the sharks circling the Boat like Custer at his last stand on Saturday so he has cancelled those trips until the Spring.
We will continue the day trips as long as we can produce.....Not sailing Thursday, Have a Great Holiday, Back at it on Friday.
