Fish Monger II Fri 11/21 Blackfish Limit ( 10 man) to 7 1/2lbs!

Well it was windy n it was cold but hey that's blackfishin.

Picked away all day... had times they would bite good others times they would back off a bit. Had to work at it a today and the reward was a big box of nice blackfish. No giants today biggest fish was 7 1/2 lbs but most of the fish were 3 - 4 lber roasters. Some guys struggled with the wind/bites at times but everyone had a crack at some nice fish. Fin S Bob was an all star today and had hi hook honors with 17 fish ( only taking limit ) . Boxed up the guys 10 man limit of chunky ones. Thanks again guys. Back at it in the am...

Jumped on 2 openings with a great group on the Monger yesterday with Vinnie (sportfishingusa), Bob(fin_s_guy), Arthur and a few others. Jerry put us on some good bottom and we went to work picking a 10 man boat limit of what the Captain calls "roasters". Lost a few more, some of which were probably the elusive double digit kind. Great group and a lot of ball busting going on. Went home with a nice bag of fillets and some ribs to smoke. John the mate was excellent and always there when you needed him. This boat fishes well in a strong wind and allows you plenty of "lee side" break from the wind while you're fishing (or not). Very comfortable ride home sharing some of Pa's finest with Vinnie. Those 8.7%s go down real easy when you're ready to enjoy them after a long day on the water. How about it Vin?:D
