Fish Monger II 11/16 Blackfish - Well felt good too b sitting with 2 anchors spread n cutting crabs. Knew the life down our way hasn't been that good yet so we took the steam way north. Started out with immediate good life but there was alot of shorts... starting picking at some nice keepers n more shorts but then that died...Prob should have waited it out but wanted better. Rest of our day was slow... Looked down to the south but really wasn't any good only few keepers n shorts at each spot. Def could have been better... Wound up with 36 to keepers to 6 lbs in the box. Stelios Gatanas was high hook with 9 keepers(orl). Crew was a blast thanks guys. Back at it every day the weather let's us!!!

Stelly showed up to the dock at 8:05am had his limit by 8:10. i sucked only catching 4 keepers, bite was insane first thing in the morning but alllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot tttttttttttttt of shorts! Hank had us in the good sh!t all day fish just were being d!ckbgs also they were really really warm still. only a matter of time.Good to see john back on the monger totally great dude & alays there to help. great crew Mr.Bates,Dmac,toggytime doug, baccala dave,stelios,Tiny tim,bill & john.Last but not least the new tog slayer coolhand Al who bucktailed i think 8keepers #togoverstripedcatfishanyday

Funny, we were near you part of the day and had almost no shorts. We only caught shorts after you guys headed south. I only had four keepers too, but one had me in third place in the JCSA tourney, don't think it held up though.

Trip was a blast - great crew...JMurr and Tiny Tim kept us in stitches all day...Stelli got out to too big of an early lead to catch up - I ended with 8 keeps but I'm confident if I got a ninth he would have pulled a few more - that boy can flat out tog! As much as I like to fluke, I def prefer eating blackfish - broiled some last night - oh boy, how good was that! As usual, Jerry and John were aces - another dark to dark trip.
