6 man crew opening day. Scratchy bite caught some shorts 5 keepers. Very upset with the bite today. That is all.

Couldn't agree with you more. Today was very tough, not sure why. We have been banging the fish up until today, did probably 8 drops from 40ft to 60ft and we only had 5 keepers with four guys fishing hard all day. Thank you for the honest report.

Yes just a tough day. Took a ride looking for something good since last couple drops locally haven't been good. Found life up that way but it just wasn't good enough. Plenty of shorts but no keeps. But was too scratchy. Thought about sitting it out, but I just needed to find something better. But unfortunately it never happened. Just never got them going. Anywhere. Maybe I should have sat and waited. Maybe not. Just overall disgusted. Didn't expect this today. Taking off tomorrow and most likely Tuesday. Kill mode Wednesday.

It was one of those days that the bait made a big difference. We were in sight of you most of the day. We caught 26 of our 29 keepers on white leggers. I didn't get a single bite with a green crab.

It wasn't for a lack of time or effort! we left the dock at 5:15 and returned at 4:45! Now my ass is dragging at work and my son is sleeping because he has co classes on monday! who is the smart one? It was a good crew and had a good time with lousy fishing.
