AM- Headed out this morning on our open boat trip. Covered a lot of ground. Had 1 keeper and short right away on the shads and a few missed on the live bunker. Took a ride and managed a slow pick of keepers and a few shorts. One last stop and we managed a few more shorts and a keeper. Ended the day with 7 keepers to 25 lbs and half a dozen shorts.
PM - This afternoon we had the Brad Heffernan charter out. Started the afternoon jigging some shorts. Took a ride and tried to live line some fish. Had about a dozen bites, but the bass would not commit to eating the bait and just wanted to play with them. Put the trolling gear out and had a steady pick of shorts and a keeper before we called it a night. Only one keeper and around 20 shorts.
